New years Eve 2020
We had a great lineup for our New Year's Eve Comedy at the Campbell shows.
The 7:15 show concluded with a toast of bubbly at 9:00 (The New York Ball drop) served by your comedians and the bubbly was served again at midnight for the 10:00 show. Headliner Mike Betancourt, feature Jimmy Earll and Susan Maletta brought the house down. Hosted by Bob Johnston. Comedian Mike Betancourt is a veteran of the United States Navy as a catapult crewman on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt. After serving two tours, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi freedom, Mike developed a very strong sense of humor; that was the only way he believed he could survive that type of atmosphere, through laughter. After the military, Mike immediately began his stand up career. Before his first show, Mike was very nervous and puked in the bathroom like Eminem did in the movie 8 mile. It happens because performing stand up comedy is scary but that scary place become a comfortable for him, it was home. And so Mike's journey began, as he performed in bars, casinos, retirement homes, colleges, clubs and places you can't imagine doing comedy, such as a parking garage filled with very drunk people on St. Paddy's Day, Mike has done it. Stand up comedy has opened many doors for him, he got a chance to work with Ralphie May, Pablo Francisco, Jim Breuer and Aida Rodriguez. He has been seen in feature films such as: Traffik (Starring Paula Patton), Mamaboy (Starring Gary Busey) and Guitar Man (Winner of Best Drama at the L.A. Film Festival) Wrestlemania 31(as one of Bray Wyatts Scarecrows and Rusev's Russian Soliders) and finally Golden One:Respect You Deserve commercial. Mike writes and produces his own podcast called Me, Mikeself and I. Jimmy Earll Born in French Canada, he is a Filipino-American with a backwoods, white boy name.
