Contra Costa Comedy
Live Local Comedy Benefiting Contra Costa Charities
We've had a great show for you on Friday March 29th benefiting hersmile.org and featuring some of the best comics in the Bay. This show raised $750 for #hersmile.
#hersmile, a nonproft founded in honor of Jenna Betti, funds programs to empower and inspire people to thrive despite adversity. Our goal is to promote healing and resiliency during tragedies and difficult times.
We provide mini-financial grants to families who have experienced the tragic loss of a dependent child or the loss of a parent with dependent children. In addition, we fund programs in Pre-K through 12th grade that teach Social and Emotional Learning skills in order to best face life's great challenges.
Your Headliner for the evening was Jeff Applebaum.
Jeff made his national TV debut on CBS as a comedian on the "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." He has also appeared on Comics Unleashed and Comedy.TV, Byron Allen's nationally syndicated Entertainment Studios program, ABC-TV, America's Got Talent on NBC and opened for and performed with comic legends Robert Klein, Mort Sahl, Richard Lewis, Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Kevin Pollak, Elayne Boosler, Jimmy "JJ" Walker, and more.
